Camping Along the Coast

The happy campers say "cheese". The beast on the left is a petrol engined long wheel-base Land Rover that was to our chariot for the next couple of weeks.

The scenic view from our tents of the rather unusual campsite. A lot of it was on steps, a bit like mountain agriculture, a good idea I suppose but a bugger coming back from the pub.

When Ab asks Jim to find another bird to make up a threesome - he grasps the wrong end of the stick.

Well, I was glad to see that the Spanish have a sense of humor. I hasten to add that the food was really very good despite the name.

A view of Santander as we left to travel south to the mountains. Still a comercial fishing town, though as the stocks become increasingly depleted it relies more and more on tourism.
